A tailored showreel for you.
Why a Monoreel?
A Monoreel is a stand-alone, single-scene showreel that gives the actor a chance to reveal their craft through the intimacy of one relationship, seen from a single perspective.
My goal in directing these Monoreels is to guide the actor toward empathy with their character — to uncover the truth and meaning of the text using techniques drawn from Travis, Hagen, Meisner, and Stanislavski. I believe the authentic skill of an actor lies in embodying the script, making the dialogue their own, and connecting deeply with their scene partner.
Each Monoreel is filmed in a single, continuous shot, capturing the actor’s ability to stay present, respond organically, and let emotion and thought flow through the dialogue and objectives.
The result is an authentic performance that feels spontaneous — as if improvised.
